Manual therapy
Manual techniques are utilized to reduce pain, increase range of motion, decrease myofascial restrictions to improve muscle length, decrease swelling or inflammation, assist the body in muscle or soft tissue repair, and facilitate movement.
Breathwork
Breathing techniques slow the Central Nervous System providing deeper access to physical impairments allowing injuries to be addressed through a multi-level approach.
Our approach
We begin with an evaluation that incorporates a gait assessment on a Core Align, traditional physical therapy objective measures, and Reformer and Cadillac foundational movement patterns. This comprehensive approach helps us develop a hypothesis about what may be limiting your functional performance.
At the end of your evaluation, we will discuss our findings, provide you with a home exercise program that fits your busy schedule, and recommend a treatment frequency based on your goals and budget.

About
Shayna’s educational journey started with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University, and she later pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stockton University. Additionally, she holds a graduate-level certification in Pilates from Pineland Pilates and completed the 200-hour Pranakriya yoga teaching certification.
Her career began at Emory Orthopaedics, where she developed a strong foundation in orthopedics. Later, during her time at Fox Rehab in home health, she discovered her passion for one-on-one patient care. Combining her experiences, she crafted a unique approach to physical therapy, tailored for adult patients of all ages and injuries.
Shayna’s innovative approach involves integrating breathwork and the Pilates exercise vocabulary into traditional physical therapy treatments, catering to both acute and chronic conditions. This methodology effectively trains the intrinsic muscular system through neuromuscular reeducation to support the extrinsic musculature, resulting in a well-balanced and efficient movement system suitable for everyone, from weekend warriors to advanced athletes.
