Your treatment

During your appointment time, you are the sole patient in our facility. That means you receive one-on-one undisturbed care from your clinician. The one-to-one ratio enables your clinician to focus solely on your body, your experience during your time in our clinic, and your response to the movements we ask you to perform. We firmly believe that this one-on-one model allows you to spend less time in our clinic and more time doing what you love to do.

An integrative treatment approach to return to optimal function

Our approach

We begin with an evaluation that incorporates a gait assessment on a Core Align, traditional physical therapy objective measures, and Reformer and Cadillac foundational movement patterns. This comprehensive approach helps us develop a hypothesis about what may be limiting your functional performance.

At the end of your evaluation, we will discuss our findings, provide you with a home exercise program that fits your busy schedule, and recommend a treatment frequency based on your goals and budget.

When I first met Shayna, I was experiencing severe and persistent migraines following spinal fusion surgery. Despite seeking help from conventional medical professionals, I was unable to find relief. Thankfully, working with Shayna had a profound impact on my healing journey and overall quality of life. She supported me during a challenging and vulnerable time with genuine empathy and attention. Thanks to her expertise and compassion, I have been able to successfully manage my pain, remain active, and enjoy life once again. The transformation that Shayna facilitated for me was truly life-changing, and I will always be grateful for the gift she has given me.

About

Shayna Gross, DPT, combines her extensive clinical physical therapy experience with Pilates, yoga, and breathwork to create an evidence-based and innovative approach to physical therapy.

Shayna’s educational journey started with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University, and she later pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stockton University. Additionally, she holds a graduate-level certification in Pilates from Pineland Pilates and completed the 200-hour Pranakriya yoga teaching certification.

Her career began at Emory Orthopaedics, where she developed a strong foundation in orthopedics. Later, during her time at Fox Rehab in home health, she discovered her passion for one-on-one patient care. Combining her experiences, she crafted a unique approach to physical therapy, tailored for adult patients of all ages and injuries.

Shayna’s innovative approach involves integrating breathwork and the Pilates exercise vocabulary into traditional physical therapy treatments, catering to both acute and chronic conditions. This methodology effectively trains the intrinsic muscular system through neuromuscular reeducation to support the extrinsic musculature, resulting in a well-balanced and efficient movement system suitable for everyone, from weekend warriors to advanced athletes.

I am so thankful I went to Physiovation. Before going here. I had tried every therapy and workout to try to resolve chronic back pain. Only Shayna was able to see things in my body mechanics that no one else was able to see. With 6-8 sessions, she tweaked my every day movements that made me FINALLY able to workout again pain free. I truly believe that Shayna is the reason that I will grow old without chronic pain.
